Prayer Shawl Ministry
Our goal is to wrap comfort on those who receive a gift from our ministry.  During the construction of the gift, whether a shawl, blanket or infant gift, the committee begins with prayers and blessings for the recipient.  Our group is primarily members of Mary Mother of Jesus church, but we love the few who are members that are close to our parish.

At present, we have given out 27 blankets or shawls and 12 infant blankets at baptism.

Pro Life Committee
We meet on the third Monday of every month at 6:30 p.m. to address various issues regarding the value of life from conception to natural death. We help local crisis pregnancy center, nursing homes, hospices, etc. Call Cindy Sayes at (318) 446-2893 with any questions or if you would like to join us in this ministry.

Second Sunday Breakfast
The second Sunday of every month, September through June, a complimentary breakfast is served following the 8:00 a.m. Mass.

Ladies' Rosary Ministry
Women gather in the Church every Tuesday at 9:30 a.m. to pray the rosary.

Bereavement Committee
Provides for the luncheon following the funeral of a member of our parish family. Contact: Bobbie Long, (318) 442-3578
